Educational Tip on Cleaning Red Stains from your Carpet

Has anyone or one of your children spilled red Kool Aid, red Slurpee or red wine in your carpet?  This red dye is very hard to remove from your carpet.  1st)  Clean up the spill the best you can.

2nd)  You need a mixture of clear ammonia and warm water (50/50)

3th)  Use a cloth and add the 50/50 mixture of ammonia to the carpet.

4th)  Lay a damp white towel over the area.

5th)  Then you need an iron to add heat to the damp towel in the area where the spot was located.  The heat from the iron is necessary to remove the stain.  A large towel can help in reducing the odor from the ammonia when the heat is applied.

Heard this company through the grapevine and thought I give it a shot. Only have room with a rug but my Ex had cats. And this service did wonders. I can finally keep the door open without the smell coming in and down the hall.
